Each of my pieces is paired with one identical 3d modeled NFT. The digital version is to be enjoyed in the ever-expanding digital metaverse and also serves as a digital record for the physical version of the original appearance if damaged. This also serves as a record if the physical version is ever lost. I can only create these works at a rate of about one a month and there will likely only be a total of 500 pieces and paired NFTs created throughout my lifetime.

I love everything about wood – the tree it came from, the movement of the grains formed over decades, the Janka (hardness) ratings, the milling process, the drying process, the smell, how it feels, and of course the actual shaping of the wood. I often find fallen trees after the storm season here in the deserts of El Paso, Texas near the Rio Grande. I haul the logs back to my shop, mill them, dry the lumber, and design the pieces myself. The desert woods are such a rare occurrence that it increases the uniqueness of my designs. It brings me great pleasure to honor the wood. I founded Marini Furniture after years of my own research into perfecting lost traditional, natural, and durable practices to meet consumer needs. Marini Furniture creates pieces in such a manner that they are restorable. If my products by chance happen to be disposed of in natural spaces, they will biodegrade, causing no harm to the natural space, atmosphere, or environment as a whole. Marini Furniture was created to bridge the gap between the artform and the environment.
